When I make my home at Woodleaf can I come and go freely? What about outings with my family and friends?

Absolutely you can. Our residents live their lives as they please. We simply ask that you sign in and out when you come and go so we can account for your safety.

I still drive. Can I bring my car?

Certainly. We will reserve a VIP parking place just for you with your name on it.

What are the suites like at Woodleaf?

We have four suite sizes: studio, one bedroom, one bedroom deluxe, and two bedroom deluxe. All sizes include a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, sink and cabinets, individual heat and air, closets and handicap accessible bathrooms with alert buttons to call our staff. You will be provided cable TV and a land line telephone line as well. All suites are private though couples or family members sometimes share a larger suite.

What about meals?

Chef Stephen is a classically trained Chef. His world cuisine includes Greek, Asian, German, Cajun, Southern, Mediterranean, and Southwestern to name a few. He selects fresh veggies (nothing canned or frozen) and makes his sauces from scratch. You will enjoy three meals and snacks in a traditional plantation style dining room and he can accommodate special diets and important food preferences. Chef’s specialty is seafood. Shrimp and grits is a favorite and his hush puppies are legendary!

How about outdoor spaces?

Woodleaf’s butterfly garden in the open atrium is a National Wildlife Federation Certified Sanctuary. The beautiful flowers and shrubs are larval and nectar food for pollinators.Our residents enjoy nature and conversations on their garden porch. Last year we raised Monarch butterflies from caterpillars to butterflies and released them in our butterfly garden.

What are my payment options?

Long term care insurance, veterans benefits and private pay are accepted. There are no long term leases and no large buy-ins. Your lease renews every 30 days so the most you will ever be liable for is 30 days. You will be billed at the beginning of each month for the upcoming month.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes. Healthy well mannered pets are welcome. There is a one time $1,500 pet fee and vet and flea control records are required.
