A little rain couldn’t stop the fun at Willow Pond Senior Care in Statesboro for its first-ever End-of-Summer Family Carnival!
The event brought residents, families, friends, staff, and Southeast Bulloch High School Region 9 FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) students together Saturday, August 29, 2026 for a morning filled with games, prizes, laughter and plenty of carnival treats.
A rainstorm moved through early that morning, but the Willow Pond team and Southeast Bulloch High School students quickly shifted into high gear. Led by Charity Masters, Lead Teacher and FCCLA Advisor, the students joined the Willow Pond staff in setting up and preparing activities.
Just as the skies cleared, the carnival was ready to roll: indoors and out.
