In anticipation of America’s 250th anniversary, Willow Pond Senior Care proudly unveiled its new Veteran Wall of Honor during a special ceremony on July 2, 2026, welcoming nearly 35 residents, family members, staff, and guests to celebrate the lives and service of its resident veterans.
Erica Sellers-Wells, Executive Director, opened the ceremony by reflecting on the significance of the nation’s upcoming semiquincentennial.
“On July 4, 2026, America celebrates the most important milestone in our country’s history: 250 years of American independence. In response to the White House Task Force 250, we are encouraged to renew our love for American history, experience the beauty of our country, and rededicate ourselves as one nation under God,” Sellers-Wells said. “Willow Pond Senior Care understands the dedication of those who have served our country and deserve to be honored for the sacrifices of themselves and their family.”
